How to play
- With your computer keys. The bottom row plays white keys from C3: Z X C V B N M , . / (middle C is the comma). S D G H J L ; above it are the black keys. The top row carries on from F4: Q W E R T Y U I O P [ ], with 2 3 4 6 7 9 0 - for the black keys. Every key shows its letter.
- Move the letters. Lower and Higher, or the left and right arrow keys, move the letters an octave. They always cover three octaves.
- With a mouse or a touch screen. Click or tap a key, or slide across the keys for a run. On a phone, turn it sideways.
- With your own piano. Plug a USB or MIDI piano into a computer or an Android phone and choose Connect piano at the top. Every key works, and the sustain pedal too.
- Record what you play. Press Record and play, then Stop. Play it back to watch it fall onto the keys, download it as a MIDI file, or make a video of it.

Questions
Is it free?
Yes. No account, no ads and nothing to install. It runs in your browser.
Does it work on a Chromebook?
Yes. Chrome on a Chromebook, Windows or a Mac plays it with the keyboard, the touchpad or a touch screen.
Can I play chords?
Yes. Most computer keyboards take three or more keys at once, a touch screen takes several fingers, and a piano takes them all.
Is my recording uploaded?
No. What you record stays on this device, and the MIDI file and the video are made right here.
There is no sound. What now?
Turn the sound on at the top right and check the volume. On a slow connection the piano sound takes a few seconds to load.
Can I learn real songs here?
Yes. Pick a song and it comes in short lessons: a few bars at a time, one hand, then the other, then both.
