A free Synthesia alternative
Pianolune plays like Synthesia, with notes falling onto a piano, but it runs in your browser and it is free. It also cuts every song into short lessons, one hand at a time.

What Pianolune adds
- Bring any song: Upload a recording. A piano recording becomes its exact notes, a full song becomes a piano version you can play.
- Free sheet music: The PDF and MIDI of every classic here, and sheet music for the songs you bring.
- Falling notes videos: Turn any song or MIDI file into an MP4 for TikTok, Reels, Shorts or YouTube, made in your browser.
- Hear it first: Every lesson has a Listen button, so you know how the bars should sound.
When Synthesia is the better pick
- You want to play with no internet connection.
- You play on an iPad with a digital piano: Apple lets apps reach a piano, but no iPhone or iPad browser can.
- Your keyboard has lighted keys you want to use.
